“Ever heard of a Chartered Accountant who left balance sheets to design bridal couture?
Yeah… that’s me. And trust me — this wasn’t part of any ‘plan.’”Hi, I’m Namitha R Dalmia —I started my career as a Chartered Accountant — a world of numbers, logic, and precision.
But somewhere between those spreadsheets and reports… I realized my creativity was waiting to breathe.
I loved structure —andI I longed for self-expression.
So, I took a leap.
From balancing books to balancing drapes —
from corporate suits to couture silhouettes.
Over the years, I’ve dressed over 15000 people, showcased at India Runway Fashion Week,exhibited at the LAKME FASHION WEEK and built a brand that blends Indian craftsmanship with timeless elegance.
But as my journey grew, I felt a deeper calling —
to help other women do what I did:
turn their creativity into a career, their passion into profit, and their talent into freedom.
That’s how Fashion Freedom was born —
a mentorship platform where I now guide housewives, fashion students, and boutique owners to build financially independent fashion businesses.
Because I believe fashion isn’t just about what we wear —
it’s about who we become when we express our true selves.
